The use of perovskites in solar cells gave recently a photovoltaic efficiency of 25%.

In order to build efficient perovskite-based solar cells, one should use Hole Transporting Materials (HTM), to extract efficiently the hole from the perovskite. 

In this thesis we propose to synthesize organic compounds, small molecules and/or conductive polymers, to characterize them as HTM.

The application in perovskite solar cells, which is performed in the laboratories of collaborating groups. If during the thesis some results about solar cells will become available, the structure-activity relationships will be studied.
